It’s been a busy summer so far at northington stud and stables……
So much has been going on down at the yard – Pony Camps are in full swing, we’ve been to shows, taken our ponies to local events and run pony rides down at Forest Holidays at Blackwood Forest. All that plus the arrival of some new faces at the yard too – phew! First things first though, we’ve got an announcement!
We are delighted to tell you that we will be running PINK PONY DAY on Monday 22nd August from 10am – 1pm at The Woolpack Inn, Totford. Bring everyone you know! We’ll be doing pony rides (£2), painting handprints on ponies (from £1) and there’ll be cakes for sale too. We’d love to see plenty of friendly faces so please spread the word!
Breast Cancer Haven supports anyone who has ever received a breast cancer diagnosis, offering a FREE personalised programme of therapy to help the physical and emotional side effects of a diagnosis.
Their 4th centre, in Titchfield, Hampshire opened in October 2015 and is supporting local people with the disease in Hampshire, Dorset, South Wiltshire, West Sussex, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. You can join their Facebook group here.
This is SUCH a worthwhile cause and one that is very dear to us at Northington Stud and Stables so we hope you’ll all come out to support us.
So far we have received pledges of over £350 for painting ponies PINK! Freddie was our first model. For every £50 we receive we’ll paint another pony in the yard PINK.
However, there are plenty more ponies to paint and we’re determined to get as many ponies painted up as we can.
So if you’d like to donate to see your favourite pony in the yard painted PINK then let Fran know, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or turn up at The Woolpack on Monday 22nd August between 10am and 1pm.
Our first Pony Camp of the summer proved to be a huge success. Plenty of laughs, learning and riding! Don’t believe us? Just take a look at the pictures!
